Dr. Williamson
Dr. Timothy “TJ” Williamson, DC, MS, CSCS, is the owner and founder of Resilient Physical Medicine, hailing from the beautiful Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas. He earned a Bachelor of Exercise Science degree from the University of Arkansas before graduating magna cum laude with his Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Sports Science & Rehabilitation from Logan University in St. Louis.
Acknowledged for his academic passions, Dr. TJ received distinctive recognition, including the University’s Evidence-Informed Award for his commitment to evidence-based care and mentorship to students and colleagues. During his chiropractic training, he developed research on chronic spinal pain and the biopsychosocial model of patient care, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications and lectures to musculoskeletal clinicians around the world.
Driven by a mission to provide high-quality, cost-effective care, Dr. TJ adopts a patient-centered, goal-oriented treatment approach. Taking the time to understand each individual's unique desires, he crafts personalized management plans. Beyond hands-on treatment, he empowers patients through comprehensive education and self-care advice, fostering continued recovery at home.
Apart from overseeing Resilient Physical Medicine, Dr. TJ serves as the sole chiropractor for UCHealth at the AMC Spine Center on Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. He also serves on the governing committee for the American Public Health Association’s Chiropractic Health Care Section.
Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, golfing, cycling, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife Clare, his dogs Millie and Murphy, and his backyard chickens. While he considers Colorado his forever home, he remains a loyal Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Why RPM?
At Resilient Physical Medicine, our mission is to provide effective pain management by going beyond the treatment of symptoms and empowering patients to control their own journey toward enhanced physical performance and long-term pain relief. Through personalized, goal-oriented, and patient-centered care, we provide the necessary tools, knowledge, and support for individuals to effectively manage their pain on their own. From injury recovery to optimizing athletic performance, we are committed to guiding patients through every phase of their musculoskeletal well-being.
Education is foundational to our approach, ensuring patients understand the root cause of their symptoms and the intricate workings of their bodies. This knowledge empowers them to make informed decisions and actively participate in their health. We appreciate the importance of personalized care plans, working closely with each patient to establish realistic, individualized goals aligned with their unique needs and aspirations. This clarity of purpose motivates patients to actively engage in their pain management journey while guided by a healthcare professional every step of the way.
In addition to traditional chiropractic treatment methods, our emphasis on corrective self-care assignments is pivotal, allowing patients to navigate their pain though exercises, stretches, mind-body therapies, or lifestyle adjustments aimed at relieving pain and preventing future discomfort. By providing these tools, we transform patients into active participants in their healing, fostering self-empowerment and reduced dependence on high-frequency care plans. Furthermore, our commitment to open communication and collaboration ensures that patients remain at the core of their care, actively participating in decision-making and taking ownership of their management plan. At Resilient Physical Medicine, we want all patients to become their own health advocates, paving the way for lasting relief, increased resilience, and living life to the fullest.
